1031 Tax Exchanges

If you own investment property, are you reveiwing your return on investment every year? If not, then you should be, otherwise you have no idea whether it is a good investment any more.

If you own investment property and would like me to carry out a review of your investment, please contact me. I would be happy to show you what your rate of return is for the most recent year. You can then decide if you are happy with your rate of return or whether perhaps it is time to sell and re-invest in new investment property.

In now way can I take the place of your accountant, nor am I trying to do so. However I can provide you with a written work sheet that you can take to your accountant for advice.

Likewise if you are thinking of buying investment property, I will provide a work sheet showing what your expected rate of return will be.

"Boot" what is that? This is the term used for any money you take out of the proceeds of a sale. By taking it out and not re-investing it, the "boot" becomes taxable.
