The first chart shows the average marketing tine for homes sold in Lake Barrington and Lake Barrington Shores real estate. With only 34 sales in the year to date if we have a month where there are no or few sales it can skew the chart a little and make it appear as I say "random". An example of this is March where there was only 1 attached unit sold and it took 638 days to sell. Some months had no sales at all.
The most consistent pattern here is detached homes which no marketing times above 200 days. Hopefully we will begin to see a downward trend although with the coming winter months things may slow down as we expect.

The following chart is showing the list price to sales price ratios for both detached and attached homes in Lake Barrington and Lake Barrington Shores. With the exeption of March and May it appears that once homes are priced right, the average list to sale ratio falles in the mid 90's. This is what we expect. Many home owners have had to make price redutions to get to that price right point. February, April and July had no sales of detached homes.
