Barrington Real Estate Attorneys
If there is one thing I highly recommend with buying a home, or selling for that matter is to select an attorney that specializes in real estate. Yes it is true that any attorney that passed the bar can help you but most attorneys have a speciality and if real estate is not one of them they likely will not have experienced issues as frequently as one that does specialize in real estate. It's a bit like going to a Cardiac Surgeon for Orthopedic problems.
I mean no disrespect to the attorney professionals and have on occasion helped attorneys refer their clients to real estate attorneys for this very reason.
Of course you may use any attorney you like as long as they are licensed to practice in Illinois. Can you buy or sell a property in Illinois without an attorney. Yes you can but if you have no idea what you'll be doing then it's really better to hire your own counsel. Costs differ per attorney so you should find out the costs and also find out what service is included. Here are a few I have done business with on several occasions with my clients.
